Fri was the last day for most of my colleagues at Air New Zealand. Only me, Rachel, Leong, Shon and Ronnie stayed behind...the AKL mgt gave us a box of chocolates and champagne each. the choc was worth $45!
That nite was our Staff Appreciation Nite, organised by Ronnie, me and Rachel..Angie and Azi helped out too...at NSRCC at Tanah Merah..hey, i have been there before! it was a chalet gathering with my sec sch frens..

we had a bowling competition..long time din played bowling ever since the bowling competition organised by PIL couple of years ago...u knw la, my pte ltd skills are at wiping the drain lor..but i trained hard for the PIL competition, and i got an avg of 80plus score then..haha..for this AIRNZ competition, got 70plus...almost
got into top 5! yar la, my colleagues played for fun only la, not for competition la, so the scores weren't really fantastic..Gerald and Ali played really well though.. DD, i think we can play bowling tog..heehee..
we did not have to bbq the food ourselves! the bbq assts did it for us. the food was sumptous...of course la, organised by me le.. got stingrays, crayfish, scallops, prawns, lamb chops, chicken chops etc and those more common ones..food was ready after our bowling session...i ordered durians too (recommended by dear dear-DD)! there was also a tiramisu cake made by the airport supervisor, Janet. Btw, there were two Janets at airport office, and they are rich tai-tais though they worked at AIRNZ for 30-over and 20-over years respectively..wow..i dun think i can stay in a co for that long...not sure if that would be the case when i'm much older..haha..
prizes for lucky draw and top 5 bowling players included poloraid cameras (!), 5 $50 robinson vouchers, our co t-shirts and photo frames (those who got the t-shirts or photo frames didn't really want them..haha...they gave the chance to others)..
Shon, wrote a 3-page long speech for the first time..haha..usually his speeches were drafted by our Marketing 'spokesperson', Anita. he read it out and his eyes turned red, and the rest started to shed tears too...hai..it was a sad ending after all...Leong really cried. he was the only one who went to the washroom..
i think i'll miss these colleagues, especially Leong and Rachel..even though i have been here only for a year..= )
