Most people would remember all their overseas trips undertaken, the places they go, the things they do, the food they eat etc..unless the number of their overseas trips are as frequent as 'toilet visits'..= ) but not for me of course...
firstly, my overseas trips are very countable, they aren't as frequent as toilet visits..secondly, this KL/BKK trip is so ...... that i would remember, i think, for the rest of my life..till when i'm old and become EVEN MORE FORGETFUL (my forgetfulness is due to those teeny-weeny unimportant memories and details taking up the limited space in my small brains, despite my big face..big face shd have big brains..hee..).
What's so 'memorable' abt this trip:
1. It was planned by Rachel's hubby, Adrian, sometime in Dec last yr, and his original plan was a holiday for e two of them. heehee..
2. Air Asia had a promo to celebrate its anniversary - all tkts were free to/from certain destinations.
3. But we had to depart from KLIA.
4. Kinda stupid isn't it? But Kai Li and i were so ecstatic that we tried to book our tkts online for almost the whole day in the office...luckily, Leong wasn't around in the office that day..oops! = ) so there were, e 6 of us, Rachel, Adrian, Me, Eric, Kai Li and Wendy (rachel n kaili's ex-colig-cum-fren). we met kaili's bf there..
5. It was a 'cheapo trip' with minimal expenditure on hotel accomm (6 of us cramped into a hotel room in KL overnite, and in BKK, 3D2N hotel accomm and airport transfer cost 1,000baht= sgd42), airfares (free!), apt taxes, and transportation.
6. On our way to the hotel at KL in wee hours, i saw mice running abt...eeeeeeyucks!
7. the staff gave us a duplicate key of a room which was oredi occupied! alamak, that's really a no-no for hotel service and hospitality.
8. our BKK hotel rooms n corridor paths are not carpeted.
9. eric n i met his ex-BKK agents at Hard Rock Cafe at Siam Square..rockz!
10. we went to the four-faced Buddha, CentralWorld, Chatuchak, MBK, Pa Pong, Healthland and Big C.
I was told by the security guard to stop taking more pics after taking this! the boots n penguins..
11. we did thai body massage and foot massage, saw transvestites in Watsons as sales promoters, ate steamboats at MK and Coca, took the tuk-tuk and BTS (their MRT system), saw california fitness!!.......
12. Air Asia flight was delayed by over two hrs. i'm sceptical abt taking Air Asia flights again.
13. Because of this, we are left with no available seats in coaches sending us back to SIN.
14. We took limo (e one which sent us from KLIA to the bus interchange) back to JB and reached there ard 3am at a high price!
15. We walked from JB customs to SIN customs! felt like illegal immigrants, though we walked back and not swam back. haha..
There were so many 1st times! In fact, they were all 1st times, except going to MBK and taking Air Asia plane.
Ok, so it was a fruitful trip after all..bought many things and food..will go back again some day though..CHEERS!
